To achieve optimal results, the TransIT-HeLaMONSTER Kit allows for fine-tuning of reagent ratios. While the standard protocol suggests a starting ratio of 3 µl TransIT-HeLa Reagent per 1 µg of DNA, researchers can titrate between 2–4 µl to maximise performance for specific HeLa subtypes. Similarly, the MONSTER Reagent can be titrated (0–5 µl per 1 µg DNA) to balance expression levels with cell density.
