By offering a platform that supports three distinct tray lengths—15 x 7cm, 15 x 10cm, and 15 x 15cm—this unit allows researchers to select the optimal gel length for their specific application at the time of purchase, or upgrade later without buying a new tank. Ideally suited for restriction fragment analysis, sample preparation, or checking high numbers of samples, the MultiSUB Choice is a workhorse for modern molecular biology.

For applications requiring extended separation distances, the MultiSUB Choice Stretch systems expand this versatility further with 15 x 20cm and 15 x 25cm tray options. This increased run length allows for high-resolution separation of complex bands and accommodates significantly higher sample throughput—up to 350 samples per gel. Despite this high capacity, the units are engineered to maintain low buffer volumes, ensuring economical operation without compromising resolution. Speed loading is facilitated through a wide range of multi-channel pipette compatible combs, streamlining the workflow for high-throughput screening.
