FastGene® Precast Protein Gels 10 x 8cm, 12%, 12 Well

FastGene® Precast Protein Gels are available in a variety of homogenous and gradient gels in different sizes. They are formulated for denaturing as well as native gel electrophoresis depending on the used running and transfer buffer. FastGene® gels are cast in a neutral pH environment, the hydrolysis of polyacrylamide is reduced thereby producing an increased gel stability and superior band resolution. Further advantages are an optimised running performance, larger loading volume, extra tall wells in order to avoid lane-to-lane overflow, a higher transfer efficiency and a shelf life of 12 months. The FastGene® gels are based on Bis-Tris buffer system and are 1mm thick, they require a MOPS buffer system. MOPS buffer sachets are available separately, Geneflow catalogue number B9-0102 These 8x10cm gels  are compatible with Bio-Rad Mini-PROTEAN® II & 3, Bio-Rad Mini-PROTEAN® Tetra System, Hoefer Mighty Small (SE 250) II Mini Vertical Electrophoresis Units and Hoefer Tall Mighty Small (SE 260) II Deluxe Mini Vertical Electrophoresis Units.
