Effective

ThermoClean CPX is an ethandiol-based protection solution for water baths and water circulation systems which works in a similar manner to alcoholic disinfectants and prevents bacteria, viruses, yeasts, fungi, and algae from growth and also prevents endospores from flourishing. It provides corrosion protection especially of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, bronze etc. It is suitable for all thermostats and circulation pumps made of water-resistant metals, glass or commonly used plastics (as far as resistant to ethylene glycol). Furthermore when used as directed,  ThermoClean CPX prolongs the shelf life of these devices. It is non-volatile and does not produce foam or produce residues.

Economical

ThermoClean CPX is used at a 0.1% dilution meaning that a 100ml bottle treats 100L water. The blue-coloured pH indicator indicates degradation of the active compounds by decolouration. Higher dosages are possible but they do not provide an incremental increase in protection. Water systems should be replenished (monthly additional dosage of 50% = 0.5 ml/L) or ideally renewed after 3 months. It is recommended to use demineralized water, not obtained by ion exchange. ThermoClean CPX does not contain organic solvents, heavy metals, formaldehydes, acids, alkali, aggressive phosphates or phenols.

Shelf Life

3 years from date of production, room temperature storage
